GRADE: Grade control we used to track the Quality of item

Grade can’t be used without enabling the lot control

Now we can create a grades

NAV-> setup-> Grades

Enter the details as shown below

And save the record

Now we need to enable the lot control at organization parameters

NAV-> inventory responsibility-> setup-> organization-> parameters

Uniqueness: Across items       Generation: At item level and save the record

Now we need to create the Item NAV -> item-> master item

Enable the lot control and enter the starting prefix and starting Number and enable the GRADE and give the Default grade and assign the child org

Save the record

Same as above screenshot we need to create a two more items for another grades

Now let’s perform the Transaction

NAV-> Transactions -> Miscellaneous Transaction

Enter the account Type and source and click on the Transaction Line

Enter the details as shown below and click on the Lot/Serial tab

Now we need to click on the Generate Lot tab and enter the quantity

Then click on the Done tab

Do the same as another two transaction Lines and SAVE THE SCREEN

Now we can check the on-hand quantity

NAV-> on hand quantity-> on hand quantity

Give the details as shown below and click on the FIND tab
