                MOVE ORDER TRANSACTION

Move Order: Sub-Inventory Transfer and move order is both are same but move order follow some steps we can reserve the stock from particular store, in sub-inventory transfer we cannot do it. Move order have some reference Number, if you want to print some reports, we can print it in move order. Move orders are 4 types

v Move Order Requisition

v Replenishment Move Order

v Pick-Wave Move Order

v Desecrate Move Order

Steps Involved in MO:  

Ø Create MO

Ø Approve MO

Ø Allocate MO

Ø Transact MO

Allocation Status: Single, Multiple, None

Single: When we move stock from one sub-inventory its shows as single

Multiple: When we move stock from multiple sub-inventories its shows Multiple

None: you don’t have stock in any sub-inventory its shows as none

Now let’s perform the MOVE ORDER TRANSACTION

Now we can create the MOVE ORDER

NAV-> move orders-> move orders

Here we need to enter the MO number manually and TRANSACTION TYPE, SOURCE SUB INVENTORY, DESTINATION SUB INVENTORY and ITEM QUANTITY (how much quantity we can transfer the item)

Then click on the APPROVE tab

Now we can see the MO status is APPROVED

Now we need to do ALLOCATE MO

NAV-> move orders-> Transact move orders

Enter the MO number and click the FIND tab

Now we need to enable the check box at line level then click on the ALLOCATE tab

Now we need to do TRANSACT MO

Now we can click on the TRANSACT tab

Allocation Status: Single

Single: When we move stock from one sub-inventory its shows as single 

Now we can see the item is transferred or not

NAV-> Transactions-> Material Transactions


None: you don’t have stock in any sub-inventory its shows as none



Allocation Status: Multiple

Multiple: When we move stock from multiple sub-inventories its shows Multiple

EX: If Sub inventory-1 having Item quantity is 20 and Sub inventory-2 having 20 quantity. If we want to move the stock 25 quantity to sub inventory-3 at that cases here material is transfer both sub inventories.
