1)     Firstly, we have to create new user

NAV->Click on Home tab->Tools->Security Console

Click on Add User Account tab

Give the user name and password and confirm password then click on Save & Close tab

Now click on Edit tab

Click on Add Role tab

Now Add Two Roles

Ø Application Implementation Consultant

Ø IT security Manager



Now we have to re login

1)     And let’s define the Currency

NAV->Setup and Maintenance

Select the Financials


 Now go to Financial Reporting Structures->Manage Currencies


Click on + tab and give the required details and click on Save & Close tab

1)     Now let’s define the Accounting Calendar

NAV->Financials->Financial Reporting Structures->Manage Accounting Calendars

Click on + tab


 Give the details as shown below and click on Next tab

See here the Period details is automatically generated

Now click on Save & Close tab

1)     Now let’s Define COA value sets (Charts of Accounts)

NAV->Financials->Financial Reporting Structures->Manage Chart of Accounting Value Sets

give the details as shown below Screen Shots and click on Save and Close tab

Now let’s define the COA (charts of account)

NAV->Financials->Financial Reporting Structures->Manage Chart of Accounts Structures

Give the Module name as General Ledger and click on search and click on Manage Structures tab

Click on + tab

Give the details as shown below and click on + tab

Give the details as shown below and click on Save and Close tab

After completed of these key flexfield we need to DEPLOY FLEXIFIELD (like Compile in EBS)


Now we have to click on the Manage Structure Instance

Click on + tab

Give the details as shown below and click on Save and Close tab

Give the Structure name and click on Search tab then select the line click on Edit tab

Enable required check box if you want this account is required.

Click on OK tab

1)     Now let’s Create Primary Ledger

NAV->Financials->General Ledger->Manage Primary Ledgers

Click on + tab

Give the details as shown below and click on Save and Close tab


Now let’s create Legal Entity Location

NAV->Financials->Legal Structures->Manage Legal Addresses

Click on + tab and give the give the location Address Details then click on OK tab.


Now let’s define the Legal Entity

NAV->Financials->Legal Structures->Manage Legal Entity

Select the Create New and click on Apply and Go to Task.

Click on + tab

Give the details as shown below and click on Save and Close tab


Now we are going to giving the relation ship between Legal Entity and Ledger

NAV->Financials->General Ledger->Assign Legal Entities

Select the Select and Add and click on Apply and Go to Task tab

Click on Action tab

Give the legal entity and click on search.

Then select the line click on Apply and Done tab

Click on Save and Close tab

We can see here ledger is assigned to all options

Now go to the Assign Balancing Segment Values to Legal entity

Click on the + tab

Here assign the Company to Legal Entity

Create a Location

Go to->financials->enterprise profile->manage location

Then click on + tab and give the all required data

Then click on the save tab and submit tab and done


now we have to create the BUSINESS UNIT (in EBS OPERATING UNIT)

NAV->Financials->org structure->Manage Business unit

Click on + tab
Give the required data & click on save & close tab

Now Assign Business Unit Business Function

NAV->org structure-> Assign Business Unit Business Function click on the business unit

Now give the BU as a select and add. Then click on the apply and go to task tab

Search with the BU name and select the BU line and click on save and close tab

Create Item Master organization (in EBS Master organization)

NAV->Product Management->Item Organizations->Manage Item Organizations

Give the details as shown below and click on Next tab


click on Save and Close

Inventory organization (in EBS child org)

NAV->Product Management->Inventory Organizations->Manage Inventory Organizations

Click on + tab

Give the details as shown below and click on the Next tab

Go to General and give the required details

Click on Lot, Serial Number, and Picking Unit


 NAV->Product Management->Inventory Management->Manage Facility Shifts

Give the details as shown below and click on Save and Close tab

Now let’s create a Workday Pattern

NAV->Product Management->Inventory Organizations->Manage Facility Workday Patterns

Click on + tab

Give the details as shown below and click on Save and Close tab

Now let’s create Schedule Exceptions (here we can create holidays)

NAV->Product Management->Inventory Organization->Manage Facility Schedule Exceptions

Click on + tab

Give the details as shown below and click on Save and Close tab

Now let’s create the Schedule (in EBS Calendar)

Click on +tab


Give the details as shown below and click on the Workday Patterns then click on +tab and give the pattern name and sequence

Now click on the Schedule Exceptions tab and click on +tab then give the Exception name and click on Save and Close
