MISCELLANEOUS TRANSACTIONS
If we want
to do any transactions, we should assign Inventory Roles to the User
Inventory
Roles:
ü Warehouse Manager
ü Warehouse Operator
ü Receiving Agent
NAV-> Tools->Security Console
click on the
users
search with the user name and select the user
Now click on the Edit tab and assign the roles to user
Now give the
Data Access for user
NAV->Financials->Users and Security->Manage Data Access for users
Click on + tab
Give the user
name and Role, Security context, Security context value
Click on save and close
Now we have
to run the Synchronization process
NAV-> Financials->Initial users->Run user and Roles synchronization process
Click on Submit tab
Now create SUBINVENTORY
SUBINVENTORY: sub inventory is use to store the
goods
NAV->Manufacturing and Supply chain material management->inventory management->manage subinventory and locators
Click on +tab
give the details as required and click on save and close tab
click on OK tabNow we have to create another sub inventory also
Miscellaneous
Receipt: With the help of Miscellaneous
Transactions To increase or either decrease the stock. Stock Increase happen
through Miscellaneous Receipt.
NAV->Supply Chain Execution->Inventory Management
Click on create Miscellaneous Transaction
Select organization and click on OK tab
Select the
Transaction type as a Miscellaneous Receipt.
Click on + tab
Give the details as shown below
Click on Submit tab
Click on OK tab
Now we have
to check the On Hand Quantity of Item.
NAV-Manage Item Quantities
Search with the Item
Click on View Item Availability tab
MISCELLANEOUS
ISSUE: Miscellaneous
Issue is used to Decrease the on-hand quantity
NAV->Supply Chain Execution->Inventory
Management
Click on +
tab
Select the
Transaction type as a Miscellaneous Issue.
Click on + tab
Give the details as shown below
click on OK tab
Now we have
to check the On Hand Quantity of Item.
NAV-Manage Item Quantities
Click on View Item Availability
Now we have
to check the Review Completed Transactions (like in EBS
Material Transaction)
